What is Your Path? Non-specific personal Paganism
About Me Let me start off by answering the question I am asked the most. No, I am not a natural red head. I am a brunette (maybe blonde, not really sure anymore). I dye it red and it looks good on me. Its not being vain, I am simply stating the truth. I have green eyes, which on a good day let me see the ghost in my closet. (About the only thing brave enough to live in there.) Everything else has jumped out and strategically placed itself on the bedroom floor. Have you ever wondered what happens to that one last sock you just can't find after the wash? Well, worry no more, there is a monster under my bed and he eats them for a snack. I enjoy many hobbies and talking to just about anyone about anything. (Even politics and religion, lol) I have been following the pagan path for about 10 years. I am pretty eclectic still in my practice, but am very interested in the Hellenistic path and find the more I look into it the more I like it. I am also interested in the practice of Voodoo. Other things to know about the wonderful Goddess also known as Me! 1.) I am happy with who I am and the life I lead. If you take offense to what I have to say they you obviously take yourself way too seriously. Lighten up, its the best thing you can do to prolong your life. 2.) Act childish every once in awhile. How else do you expect to stay young? 3.) Be unique, there are enough boring people in the world already. 4.) Find out what works for you and continue to do it. Who knows, maybe you will start a trend. 5.) Encourage tolerance of all people. No matter what you might believe is right or wrong. Remember no matter how thin you slice it the bread still has two sides. 6.) Smile it improves face value. 7.) I am full of sarcasm and witty one liners. A trait I believe I inherited from my wonderful grandmother. She is my inspiration and my role model. I love you granny :) 8.) Before you judge me get to know me. You might find out I am not as awful and you believed I was. 9.) Learn all you can while you are here, it may be the last time you choose to come back. 10.) Tell the truth, its more fun and you get to watch everyone else get into trouble. 11.) If telling the truth might incriminate you, lie. But do a good enough job so the second part of the above statement still applies. 12.) Every women is a Goddess and should be treated as such. (Tidbit of info for all you guys out there.) And I guess so I don't sound sexist, yes men are in some way a God. But Ladies, DO NOT ever tell them this or that will be the end of anything intelligent they might have had to say. All you will get is grunting and chest bumping, and them shouting "WHO DA MAN!!!" And the best thing to do is say "yes dear" and pat them on the head for reassurance.
Music I like pretty much anything except for Country music and Rap.

Movies Romantic Comedies,I also enjoy "stoner comedy" film, Historical Fiction, Psychological Thrillers, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings
TV WWE Monday Night RAW, History Channel, Adult Swim, Cartoons, Travel Channel, Pretty much anything that is not reality TV
Books Anything that is "new age", Pagan Ways by Gwydeon O'Hara, Paganism by Vivian Crowley, The Practical Pagan by Dana Eilers, the Harry Potter series, The Wicca Handbook by Eileen Holland, Wicca A-Z by Gerina Dunwich, Exploring Wicca by Lady Sabrina
Likes I like reading, writing, anything to do with the outdoors, sleeping (I do very little so I like when I can actually get some) , spending time with family and friends, travel, talking (I do a lot of this, if you know me you know this already) , expressing my opinion (regardless of if its liked or not) , and whatever else strikes my fancy and makes me happy.
Dislikes Proselytizing; Gossiping; People who treat others like they don't matter or have an opinion; People who don't listen; People who think they know you better then you know yourself. Oh yea, and telemarketers.
Vices The scent of fabric softner.

    Monday's Tyra Banks

Tuesday, January 30, 2007, 12:37 PM MST [General]

I was just curious as to if anyone actually got to see this episode of the show. I am not a watcher of the show, but the topic actually would have been something I would have wanted to see. It was "The Secret Lives of Witches." I am asking you my loyal readers for your input becasue I didnt actually see the show I can only go from what I did see on the website. If anyone did happen to see it I am curious on your thoughts to see how the Witch community was portrayed. I did happen to peruse the website for the show and some of the information that I found on there I found to be kind of one sided and very misinforming.

One of the biggest turn offs for me was the fact that they had on Fiona Horne (of Mad, Mad House). Im not saying that she isnt a good source of information, but for any of you who like myself saw the Sci-fi show I think there could have been many other better choices. However, I guess she fits the "pop" culture scene that seems to be portrayed on the Tyra Show. The other thing that I had a big problem with was the fact that the only mention of male witches was in reference to following a "dark path." Where all the women, except those who were profession Satanism (which I also dont think belonged on the same show) where "white witches".

Anyway, I could probably go on for some time just from what I read on the Tyra website but I will leave it at this for now. If anyone did happen to see it or checks out the website and has an opinion I would be happy to hear about it.

If you didnt see the show but would like to check out the website and leave your comments the web address is:

    Frustrating to Anyone?

Saturday, January 27, 2007, 06:14 PM MST [General]

Not that I like to gripe and complain, but I was just curious as to if anyone else is frustrated by the fact that many of the links for our beloved Covenspace are not working properly. I enjoy working on the web, and in order for me to learn how things work I like to "point and click" as it were and I just noticed that many of them do not work. For instance, the messages that are left in regards to the blog posts. I cannot read the comments that people make to my random musings. When I click to see what wonderful words you have had to say to me I get the "Sorry, but that page could not be found. Please try another." message. Also when trying to click on the titles for blogs same thing.

I will give it time I suppose to work itself out as the front page (which link now works and didnt before) states there are update occuring.

    Blessings,

Hmm, lets see what else can I say about me...

I am currently the Group Organizer for the Great Falls Pagans Meeting Group. A relaxed social gathering for people of any of the various pagan paths, those who are seeking a pagan path, or those who are just interested to find out more information about paganism in general. The meeting provides those who attend with the opportunity to discuss paganism, network with others, make new friends, or promote any events you may be planning. The groups are open discussion so do not feel pressured to having to have something to talk about if you attend. If you are in the area feel free to come laugh, talk, have fun!

    Blessings to all!
